Sheena Chadwick arrived in Zimbabwe from Scotland in 1963 and has been teaching and painting in Zimbabwe ever since. Sheena specializes in depicting landscapes, portraying the rich earthy tones of Africa, with its big skies, wide horizons, immense trees and open spaces.
Virginia Chihota-Sulzberger was born in Chitungwiza in 1983 and currently lives and works between Zimbabwe, Tunisia and Austria. She has exhibited extensively as a soloist and in groups since 2004 in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Belgium, France, Germany, Argentina, The UK, and South Korea.
Helen Leiros was born in 1940, in Gweru, to Greek parents. After completing her studies at Chaplin High School, she went on to study Fine Art in Switzerland and Italy between 1958 and 1963. During this time she was awarded the Bursary of Holzer, Geneva, as well as an Italian scholarship.
Nancy Mteki was born in Harare in 1989. She started photography in 2008 at a South African local work-shop, Iliso Labantu (The Eye of the People) founded by Alistair Berg and Sue Johnson, and first exhibited with the group in 2008 in Cape Town. Since 2009, Nancy has exhibited multiple times in Harare, as a soloist and in a collective.
Ruramai Rudo Musekiwa was born in Harare and spent her childhood in Australia and South Africa. She is a graphic designer by trade with a background that includes fine art, project management and writing. In 2011, Ruramai set up Studio R, a design company that offers comprehensive creative solutions.
